A Life Underwater

My favourite movie of the year so far is The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. I loved it so much, even though we had to watch half on Friday night and half with hangover Saturday morning. A dead-pan performance by Bill Murray, the cut away ship tour, Portuguese accoustic Bowie covers, a very pregnant performance from Cate Blanchett and something creepy about Willem Dafoe's character Klaus all make for a flick unique. Wes Anderson is quickly becoming a favourite director.




























Also loved Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.
