Still No Popcorn...
...but Flickr is very filling right now.
I've started a new pool called "Get The Message?" to collect "Any type of hand-written or hand-typed anonymous message or note or sign that makes you smile or just plain scared. The more hand-made, out of nowhere and abruptly personal the better."
Lately I've been thinking my photographs are becoming a little predictable and I've wanted to change direction to something a little more on the day-to-day documentary side. Nothing to serious, just taking pictures of quirky stuff that happens around here.
Day 1: Take That You Bastard.
The key to the new direction I guess is taking my camera everywhere. And it paid off. I'd been driving around all morning doing errands for the business and was wondering if I would head home on my first day empty handed. Then I spotted this car outside our storage facility in town. I couldn't believe it. I nearly wet myself laughing, snapped the shot and then got the hell out of there. And a new Flickr Pool was born.

Square Eyes
Last night TV rocked at about 10.50pm on Channel 4. My University Town Hero Jarvis Cocker showed us what it takes to make the perfect Pop TV Show. Genius concept for a show harnessing the talent of unrefutable expert. Is there no end to this man's talents? Apparently not.

Test Card Gallery
I came across this image on Flickr today. It took me back. Way back.
Then I discovered a BBC Test Cards gallery.
According to the website, Test Card C (Digitally remastered) as shown above was "immensely popular". That's wonderful, but with who I wonder? And how could you register your approval for such things?
Whilst I'm here - let's take a balanced view. Who remembers Widespread World of Rediffusion? I don't really, but my Grandma used to own Rediffusion Television set even into the early 1990's. Beautiful logo.

June 2005 Highlights
June was a strange month. The business was really busy at times with European Clubs 2005 getting ever nearer. I think Lando C and I were just gunning for July where we could learn to breathe again. Really June was all about Barbecue Wishing (the weather sucked), Badly Sprained Ankles, and a short stay at a really weird but very homely B&B in Eastbourne.

Elliot Smith - From a Basement Hill
I love this album. It is one long trip in a wist-wagon.
Great one for the car this. Yelling "Ooooooooh!" at the traffic is very alleviating.
Maximo Park - A Certain Trigger

It's been a great month for movies. Sin City and Garden State are definitely up there on the Christmas DVD list.
